Gospel Rotary presents a meticulously crafted emulation of the classic Leslie rotary speaker, precisely reproducing the Doppler effect and cabinet tone characteristic of a real 145 cabinet. The development process involved capturing impulse responses from twelve distinct positions of both the horn and drum, which were then intricately reassembled in code to deliver an authentic acoustic model of the Leslie tone.

The instrument further enhances realism by utilizing various microphone types and positions, coupled with the ability to dynamically adjust mic angles. Unique noise characteristics typically associated with a real Leslie have been isolated, allowing for separate algorithms for drum and horn noise that respond to the organ sound input. Additionally, users can fine-tune their sound with 11-band EQs and filters for both the horn and drum pathways, providing extensive capability for tonal shaping.
